The 29th ESA parabolic flight campaign
(Mérignac, Bordeaux - France 10th to 21th March 2002)
During the different meetings (one pleniary meeting and several partial meetings of the Topical Team members). It has been planned :
to carry on with the experiments during parabolic flights biofeedback tests, new medicines concerning Space Motion Sickness with two pharmaceutical laboratories
to carry out an experiment during a Taxi Soyouz (Project « SPACE MOTION SICKNESS AND STRESS CONTROL TRAINING SYSTEM USING ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL BIO-FEEDBACK AND NEUROHUMORAL MECHANISM MODELLING BY INTEGRATION OF A KNOWLEDGE ENGiNEERING SYSTEM » (Detection of early states of motion sickness in microgravity by means of skin electrodes , gastric and duodenal activity, and salivary cortisol levels training by electrophysiological biofeedback) registered within the framework of the AO : ESA-RA-LS-01 FLIGHT
to register a project at the Commission of the European Communities concerning new methods of electrophysiological biofeedback for the rehabilitation of disabled people in collaboration with a Belgian university laboratory
to collaborate with Man Vehicle Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
